Eyelet Curtain

A curtain eyelet is a ring set into the fabric. It creates regular and wide pleats on the curtain rod.

Eyelet curtains with eyelets that match the curtain rod (black/black, brass/brass). The eyelet diameter should be slightly larger than the rod diameter.

Pitfall: eyelets with too tight a diameter that rub on the curtain rod. Allow 5 mm of clearance for smooth gliding.

Eyelet curtains offer several advantages: they are easy to install and to open/close, allow the fabric to drape beautifully, and create regular pleats that give your windows a more elegant look.

To maintain your curtain eyelets, dust them regularly with a soft cloth. In case of a stain, gently clean with a suitable product without forcing on the rings. Avoid pulling too hard on the curtains to preserve the integrity of the eyelets.

The size of curtain eyelets must correspond to the diameter of the curtain rod used. Generally, eyelets with a diameter of 30 to 50 mm are recommended, depending on the width of your curtain. Also, ensure that the eyelets are sufficiently spaced for good fabric movement.

Curtain eyelets come in various finishes to match your decor: silver metal, gold, black, off-white, etc. You can also find fabric-covered eyelets, which add even more personalization to your curtains.

To install eyelet curtains, start by securely fixing your curtain rod. Then, simply thread the eyelets one after the other onto the rod, spacing them regularly. This allows you to easily slide your curtains open or closed.
