Succulent

A succulent is a fleshy plant with geometric shapes. Almost maintenance-free, it is passionately collected.

Succulents like full sun (south-facing window), very infrequent watering (1×/month) and well-draining soil (sand, perlite). No water saucer.

Mistake: succulents in the shade that become etiolated and lose their compact shapes. They need a lot of direct light.

Minimalist, Scandinavian, and industrial styles are particularly suitable for highlighting the geometric shapes and colors of succulents. They easily integrate into clean and modern compositions.

You can arrange them in groups to create a mass effect, use them as companion plants in pots, or hang them on walls for an original botanical look. They also pair very well with minerals, such as wood or stone.

Opt for small succulents for confined spaces, and more imposing varieties for larger rooms. Also ensure that the size of the plant is in line with the container where it will be installed.

In addition to their aesthetic appeal, succulents purify the air, are easy to maintain, and bring a touch of nature into your home. They can also contribute to better regulation of ambient humidity.

Succulents pair particularly well with shades of green, gray, white, and light wood. You can also combine them with touches of brighter colors, such as pink, red, or blue, to create striking contrasts.
